Y.Bhg Tan Sri A. Razak bin Ramli was appointed as an independent non-executive director with effect from 9 November 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree majoring in Public Administration from University of Tasmania, Australia and has a diploma in Gestion Publique from Institute International D’Administration Publique, Paris France. Tan Sri Razak has served various Ministries and Government Agencies including the Public Services Department and Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister’s Department, Policy Relations Unit, Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), ASEAN Economic Cooperation Unit of MITI, Chairman of APEC Senior Officials when Malaysia hosted APEC, Deputy Secretary General (Industry) and Deputy Secretary General (Trade), before he retired from his last position as Secretary General, Ministry of International Trade and Industry in October 2004. He is currently Chairman of Shangri-La Hotels Malaysia Berhad and serves as Director on several boards including Lafarge Malayan Cement Bhd, Ann Joo Resources Bhd and Transmile Group Bhd.

Mr. Erik Petersen is the Managing Director of Aalborg White Asia Sdn
Bhd. He graduated with a M.Sc. in Business and Administration from
University of Aalborg, and Executive Management Programme from Insead, France. Previously, he was Vice President, Finance and Administration in Aalborg White Asia. Before coming to Malaysia, he spent 5 years with Aalborg Portland A/S, latest as Business Development Manager and assistant to the CEO.

Managing Director

Vincent Chow Poh Jin is a Chartered Secretary by profession.  He obtained his degree in law from the University of London and is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.  He is a member of the Disciplinary Committee Panel of the Advocates & Solicitors’ Disciplinary Board under the Legal Profession Act, 1976.  He has more than 23 years of working experience with 20 years in public-listed companies’ environment, out of which more than 10 years were senior management experience in public-listed companies.  Currently employed with Tasek Corporation Berhad as Company Secretary/General Manager, Corporate Services.

Tan Check Hong worked as a Geologist, after graduating from University of Malaya in 1970. He joined the cement industry in 1971 and became first a Works Manager and later a General Manager in Cement Marketing before joining YTL Industries Bhd. He is currently the Director of Operations of Pahang Cement Sdn Bhd. He has been the Hon. Secretary since 27 November 2002.

Grace Okuda has worked with the Malaysian Government as an Administrative and Diplomatic Service (ADS) Officer for 21 years from 1974 to 1995. As an ADS Officer, she gained experience as a Budget officer, a Public Relations Officer, a Project Officer and later as a Programme Coordinator for Management Studies and Diplomacy. She also held the post of the Principal Assistant Director, heading the Import and Export Division of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry Malaysia. She was a Senior Programme Coordinator for International Relations at the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs, Malaysia before taking optional retirement to join the C&CA as its Executive Director in mid 1995 until today.
